The Podium Calendar allows you to display your school’s public and/or private events in a customizable and user-friendly format. The purpose of this training is to familiarize Platform Managers with the features of the calendar, how to create calendars, and how to establish the display settings.

Master Pages come standard with Podium and can appear in the left-hand navigation of your desktop site. Many of the Master Pages can also be added to the mobile site. The purpose of this training is to familiarize managers with the available Master Pages and how to establish the settings for each one. It will also familiarize Platform Managers with the tasks needed to set up the mobile site.

The Community Groups software allows you to create custom groupings of constituents to target communication. Chess Club, Environmental Club, and Drama Club are examples of Community Groups for extracurricular activities. You can also subdivide roles: Upper School Parents, 5th Grade Parents, etc. The purpose of this training is to familiarize Community Group Managers with the tasks needed to create and manage Community Groups.

This training will provide an overview of the data import process for academic sections and enrollments. Additionally, we will highlight key tasks in Academic Group Manager and review features of the Academic Group Pages, portal channels and Assignments Master Page.

In addition to posting content on pages and portals and sending pushpages, Podium offers several other avenues for efficiently communicating with constituents. The purpose of this training is to familiarize Platform Managers with these options, including My Notifications, Sign In Actions, User Files, and Mail Merge.
