WhippleHill announces acquisition of Eighty20

WhippleHill Communications today announced that it has acquired Eighty20, the leading provider of Web solutions to Canadian independent schools.

Eighty20, which is based in Toronto, Canada, provides a full range of communication services to meet the needs of independent schools, from strategic planning through creative design and project management for Web communications.

Under the terms of the agreement and effective immediately, WhippleHill will assume full responsibility for the day-to-day operation of Eighty20’s current school customers. These duties include hosting and support for the company’s clients in both Canada and the United States.

 “The acquisition of Eighty20 is very exciting for us,” says WhippleHill President Travis Warren. “The timing was just right. Eighty20 was seeking enhanced and broader solutions offerings for their clients, especially with respect to student information systems and portals. The acquisition also ties in with WhippleHill’s strong desire to strengthen its support for Canadian schools.
