Jonathan Harris makes projects that reimagine how humans relate to technology and to each other. Combining elements of computer science, anthropology, visual art and storytelling, his projects range from building the world’s largest
time capsule (with
Yahoo!) to documenting an Alaskan Eskimo
whale hunt on the Arctic Ocean (with a
warm hat). His work is in the permanent collections of
The Museum of Modern Art (New York) and
The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, has also been exhibited at
Le Centre Pompidou (Paris),
The Victoria and Albert Museum (London), and
The National Museum of Contemporary Art (Athens), and has appeared on CNN, NPR, BBC, and Bhutanese television. He has given talks at Google, Princeton and Stanford Universities, the
TED Conference, and at two hippy forest gatherings.
Caren Cioffi is the vice president and general manager of Express Business at Brightcove, the leading cloud content services company that provides a family of products used to publish and distribute the world's professional digital media. Cioffi is responsible for leading Brightcove's fast-growing Express product line geared toward small and medium sized businesses, which was introduced in 2009. She joined Brightcove shortly before its first product launch in 2005 and has been instrumental in accelerating the company's growth and expansion into new markets, geographies and industries. Prior to Brightcove, Cioffi was the senior product manager for Lycos Web Publishing properties and national sales manager for Raging Bull, an online financial community and division of AltaVista, that was later sold to Lycos.
