An un-conference is about collaboration, learning and contributing. As an un-conference attendee you should arrive ready to share with others your best examples and your biggest challenges, both as a Podium user and as a member of the independent school community.
At the start of each day attendees will be asked to present their ideas. An un-conference moderator will then organize them into the day's schedule of sessions. As an attendee, you are welcome to participate in whichever sessions interest you the most (as either a learner or a contributor) and are encouraged to attend as many sessions as you wish.

For the past seven years WhippleHill has meticulously planned all of our User Conferences, securing speakers, constructing schedules, crafting session descriptions and orchestrating what we intended to be an intensive and extensive learning opportunity for our users. As a whole, these conferences have been deemed successful and valuable by attendees and have continued to grow in size and scope each year.
This year we've made the decision to take our User Conference to the next level by hosting our first "un-conference". Many of you have likely heard of this unconventional conference format, some may not. Having been an attendee at un-conferences in the past I can speak first hand to the benefits this unconventional format can bring to an event like our User Conference. I'm excited to bring this incredible learning opportunity to you this July.
I invite you to attend UC2011 and experience what we believe will be one of the most successful events we've hosted to date as together we answer the question, "How do we take Podium and web communication to the next level?"
I look forward to seeing you there,

The ideal attendees at UC2011 are Podium users looking to not only improve the tools they use, but the overall web communication of independent schools. This list may include Heads of School, Communication Directors, IT Directors, Alumni & Advancement Directors as well as teachers and other supporting staff.
What is most important is that attendees arrive ready to share openly and problem solve as a group.
Though one of the guiding principals of an un-conference is to minimize the use of highly structured schedules, we understand travel arrangements must be made. Therefore, when planning your plane, train and driving itineraries, keep in mind that UC2011 will kick off Wednesday, July 27th at 7:30am and conclude Thursday, July 28th at 4:30pm.
WhippleHill's on-site Support Center will be open for pre-conference assistance on Tuesday, July 26th from 11am - 5pm, and throughout the conference on Wednesday and Thursday. We invite you to drop in at your convenience.
